Keep Moving Forward

It’s good quote. And the advice is simple but powerful. Don’t dwell on the past. Positive or negative. You can’t allow failures to drag you down. And at the same time, you can’t allow success to make you complacent. Celebrate every win, no matter how small, but then move forward.
This has been a bit harder for me of late. I’ve been working hard to stay positive. But I can admit it’s been hard in the face of passing my one year unemployed anniversary. Struggling to find my readers. Bombing on social media. My website visitors and engagement plummeting. The feeling of failure can be oppressive.
That’s part of why I’m posting this. To remind myself I have to keep moving forward. Yesterday is gone. Whatever happened, it is in the past and can’t be changed. I have to keep looking ahead. Keep trying to produce a win.
So, chin up, dear readers. No matter what lies in your path, don’t ever stop trying!
